I know that I have joint hypermobility. I also have been diagnosed as having "some type of rheumatoid arthritis" but only my knees have been affected. In August, 1997, I gave birth to a son. During my pregrancy the inflamation in my knees almost disappeared completely but now has returned worse than before. I really want to understand what is going on with my joints. If my inflamed and swollen knees are a result of hypermobile joints would the symptoms disappear during pregnancy?
